KaTe styx.ITS for SAP

You use web-based applications of the integrated Internet Transaction Server (ITS) like Employee or Manager Self Services? Because of the SAP base version used (> 6.20), the external ITS is no longer supported and therefore no single sign-on via Pluggable Authentication Service (PAS) is possible? You do not want to install and operate a portal or JAVA stack system only for password-free authentication?

Then we can support you with our product styx.ITS to have the comfort and security of a system access without entering user ID or password.

The process

First, the web-based styx.ITS application is accessed in the integrated ITS of your SAP system. The SAP or customer-specific application is passed as a parameter.

In interaction with the styx.ITS component on operating system level and the Key Distribution Center (KDC), the SPNego mechanism (Simple and Protected GSS API Negotiation) is run to obtain an SPNego token along with a Kerberos ticket. With the help of the key contained therein, an SAP Logon Ticket is obtained from the SAP system, which enables the user to log on without a password.

Explaining styx.ITS

No additional hardware or third-party software that requires a license is needed to use styx.ITS. The solution can be integrated into your existing infrastructure by configuring the existing applications.
