How does AWS authentication work in the adapter?

Because AWS authentication is complex, the adapter handles AWS Signature Version 4, IAM Role Assume (within an account and as cross-account access) as well as all common AWS authentication mechanisms automatically. Configuration is done directly in the SAP Cloud Integration Iflow channel – no manual signing of requests necessary.

Is the adapter compatible with SAP BTP and the SAP Edge Integration Cell?

Yes. The KaTe AWS Adapter is fully compatible with:

SAP BTP – for cloud-native integration scenarios
SAP Edge Integration Cell (EIC) – for hybrid on-premise/cloud scenarios
SAP Cloud Integration – fully integrated as an Iflow channel

How is SQS supported with payloads over 256 KB?

The adapter supports the claim-check pattern for SQS: Large messages are automatically offloaded to S3 and transferred as a reference in SQS. Upon receipt, the message is automatically loaded from S3, so the behavior remains completely transparent to the Iflow and no manual implementation is necessary.
